12608202 tender for pre and during bcm work: execution of pre and during all works associated with bcm machine working including attention to low joints, removal of all infringements on ahead and back of bcm machine and including supply of adequate labour along with bcm machine for smooth operation of bcm during block period. the rate also includes fixing / shifting of cutter bar of bcm at suitable locations as advised by engineer in charge, provision of ramp at the end of the work, removal of cutter bar when ever advised and fixation of psc sleepers at the location and fixing up sleepers which were dropped during operation of bcm machine including tightening of all fittings etc. this item also includes opening of level crossing and removal for guard rails at the approaches of bridges filling up of 5 sleepers spaces with ballast which the bcm leaves at the end of days work. note 1 : all cables, signaling rods, bond wires, embedded rail pieces, tie bars etc. should be temporarily disconnected / removed prior to the block period to ensure unhindered ) advance of the cutter bar over a width of 4200 mm width. all cables, signaling rods & bond wires etc. should be restored after completion of work. note 2 : gas cutting equipment along with sufficient gas and its operator will be available during the working of bcm machine to remove rail pieces , post bcm work: execution of all works associated with bcm machine after deployment of bcm machine including putting of ballast in to the track, dressing of ballast to proper profile, dressing the full width of cess after removing muck behind the bcm working, re fixing of reference posts ( which were removed prior to machine working ) , cleaning jungle on the cess, fixing of broken / fallen fittings etc. and deep screening of shoulder ballast up to full depth & width ( i.e. ballast section not screened by bcm ) through approved sieves and putting back screened ballast on the track to the required profile and throwing away muck / debris arising out of screening on the toe of banks or on cess, if low, or throwing it out of cuttings with all lead and lift as per direction of the engineer in charge, giving cross slop of 1 in 30 to the formation up to the edge of the formation, cutting the cess if required for ensuring effective drainage and initial kutcha packing. , trollying rails / switches / x ing by dip lorry / rail dolly or any other means up to a distance of 1km. including x ing of track with all lead, lift, crossing of multiple lines and stacking them as per direction of site in charge with contractors dip lorry / rail dolly etc , deep screening of fan shaped pts. & xing in running track first upto depth of cushion available and subsequent lifting, if required to provide clean cushion 300 mm for full width of ballast profile along the entire length of pts, & xing layout including initial packing.
